Parquet Wood Flooring Case Studies

A parquet or herringbone floor can be achieved using blocks of engineered or solid wood. The usual method for installation is to glue or down the boards, but some can be installed as a floated floor over an underlay.

The parquet blocks used to install a herringbone engineered floor usually come with a tongue and groove construction so that they can be slotted in together and retain their structure after installation. Some of the large engineered panels come with a click system, and can also be installed in a herringbone pattern.

Engineered herringbone flooring usually comes pre-finished with either and oil or a lacquer, and there are a great number of stains and styles available.

Mazon Flooring have a large number of parquet herringbone floors available to view in our Birmingham showroom and on this website. The Mazon Flooring showroom has herringbone floors on display on our display stands and on the floor, so that you can see the true beauty of the parquet herringbone style.
