125mm wide engineered natural oak supplied and fitted in Dudley

Mazon Flooring services were recommended to our customer from a friend of theirs that had used our services in the past.

The customer was interested in changing their existing dated carpets for a new engineered oak wood floor.

We arrange a site survey and took a range of samples to show the different colours and board widths available.

Due to the budget and width of the room, a 125mm wide engineered oak board was selected. The customer also wanted to see a lot of character in the floor, so a rustic grade board was selected.

Mazon Flooring took care of the uplift and removal of the existing carpet, underlay and gripper, and then installed a dense rubber crumb underlay suitable for engineered wood floors. We then installed the engineered oak flooring as a floated floor, using a suitable adhesive to join the tongue and grooves of the floor boards. We finished the install with a beading around the edges of the room, to avoid disturbing the existing skirting boards.
