Ground floor transformation with Invictus Highland Oak Roasted Herringbone LVT

Mazon Flooring were engaged by renowned building firm Pro Build 360 to work on a project for one of their clients in Solihull.

The project was the renovation and extension of the existing ground floor living space to provide a bigger kitchen and dining area, along with a separate concealed utility.

Mazon Flooring were asked to work directly with the end client and interior design team from Pro Build 360 to find a suitable luxury vinyl herringbone plank flooring that would work with the chosen kitchen. The floor needed to be hard-wearing, practical and visually stunning, and the Highland Oak Roasted LVT from Invictus ticked all of the boxes.

Mazon Flooring worked with Pro Build 360 on the build schedule, and between the two firms we eliminated the need for the end client to have to organise schedules and plan in dates for different trades.

Mazon Flooring looked after the removal of the tile adhesive that was left after the old tiles had been uplifted, we then proceeded to apply a paint on damp proof membrane and a 6mm smoothing compound to prepare to floor to receive the LVT flooring. Once the smoothing compound had been lightly sanded and feather finish applied, our dedicated team proceeded to centralise the pattern, check lines, and then install the herringbone LVT flooring.

The finished results are exactly what the client wanted and work perfectly with the kitchen. The finished floor is visually stunning and very easy to clean and maintain.
