Mazon Flooring were asked by a contractor, who deals with insurance rectification work, to look after their clients flooring requirements and restore their property to its former glory.
We worked with the contracting team on site to manage the schedule and make the overall process as smooth and hassle free as possible for the policy holder.
Due to the specialist knowledge we have on types of flooring and suitability for different types of usage, we were able to advise the policy holder on the most suitable floor for their home, and work with them on the colours and samples. This ensures the client gets the best possible service and outcome from the process, and is essential after so much upheaval that goes with a major insurance property claim.
The client chose the beautiful French Oak Sun colour in the Invictus range, and we took care of the rest. We started with some sub-floor preparation works to fill in some holes in the floor with rapid repair compounds, then moving on to the application of a paint on damp proof membrane and pouring of a 3mm smoothing compound to give the perfect base for the LVT flooring. Finally, our dedicated team installed the luxury vinyl planks in a premium quality adhesive to ensure longevity of the installation
