Herringbone Wood Floor Sanding in Bromsgrove.

Mazon Flooring was called in to undertake the floor sanding and restoration on a 27-year-old herringbone parquet wood floor in Dodford near Bromsgrove

Upon the initial inspection visit with the homeowner, we discussed the look and overall finish required, and the time involved in completing the work.

We also discussed with the client a few areas where the floor had lifted from the subfloor and popped up around the edges due to expansion and potential water damage.

During the uplift and installation of the edge blocks, we used an adhesive that was compatible with the old bitumen adhesive that had been used to install the original job.

Wood floor sanding work takes time, patience and a thorough approach.

Mazon Flooring undertakes wood floor sanding and restoration work throughout the Midlands, and if you need assistance with a project, please get in contact.

"Terrific Job -Renovation We've always loved our 27-year-old parquet floor, but it was starting to need some TLC. Alex and his team have given us what looks like a brand-new floor. They really are floor doctors! We had wondered if the whole thing needed to be taken up, indeed Alex could have sold us a new floor, but no he repaired, stripped and polished the existing floor and hey presto the floor is more beautiful than ever. If you want to work with a company which is professional, steeped in knowledge and expertise, and where communication is simply excellent, then look no further. Alex's honesty with us is something you don't find with every company. Mazon flooring is recommended without hesitation - we're beyond pleased!"
